The Orchard View soccer team picked up an upset victory over Western Michigan Christian 4-1 on Tuesday night in Lakes 8 play.
The Cardinals improved to 9-8 on the season and 4-4 in the conference action.
The loss for WMC is its first in conference play, leaving the Warriors 14-4-1 for the year and 7-1 in conference. The Warriors have already clinched the Lakes 8 Conference title.
WMC got on the board first on a goal from Evan Fles, but Orchard View responded with four unanswered goals.
Evan McMiller led the charge for OV with two goals and an assist, while Jared Fleener picked up the other two goals.
Cardinals’ goalkeeper Mattia Criscione stopped seven shots.
