The Orchard View baseball team picked up two wins on Tuesday, defeating Manistee 5-1 and 12-2 in Lakes 8
Conference action.
In Game 1, Brett Shawl led the Cardinals with four RBIs, including a two-run home run. Chase Keller picked up the win on the mound, striking out six over five innings.
Matt Gardner paced Orchard View in the second game with three hits and two RBIs while Shawl and Keller each had two hits. Luis Suarez pitched the win with five strikeouts in five innings.
Orchard View improved to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
