WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 71, ORCHARD VIEW 49- The Warrior defense was stellar in the first half, allowing just 17 Cardinal points and leading 39-17 at the break.
WMC outscored the Cardinals 22-16 during the third quarter to take 61-33 advantage heading into the final stanza.
Kellen Mitchell led the Warriors with 28 points, while Micah Terhaar and Owen Vernado added 15 and 10 points, respectively.
The Warriors improved to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in Lakes 8 play.
