For the fifth straight year and the 6th in the past seven years, the Cardinals returned home with the championship trophy from the Hart Invitational. The Cards started the day, defeating the host, Hart Pirates, 5-2, the Walkerville 5-0. In the championship match, they defeated Fremont, 6-2.
The Cardinals are now 9-2-1 on the season.
