Northway Lanes

The Coastal Conference (a mix of West Michigan Conference and Lakes 8 Conference Schools) held its Individual Bowling Tournament at Northway Lanes.  In the Boys Division, Derek Place took top Honors rolling a 685 series, edging out Orchard View’s Brady Bowen by 8 pins.  Bowen was joined on the All-Tourney team by teammates, Lee Farber and Justin Wolffis.  Western Michigan Christian placed two on the All-Tourney Team with Gabe Gauithier and Jamell Williams finishing in the 4^th and 5^th spot.  Rounding out the team was Oakridge’s third place finisher Josh Felkoski.  Derek Place also bowled high game with a 258.

In the Girls Division, Oakridge’s, Alyssa Major was top bowler with a 606 series and also had the high game of 234. Runner-up was Ludington’s Paighten Bentz (584), followed by Jackie Jacobs (578) of Whitehall.  Ravenna dominated the All-Tournament Team placing bowlers in the 4^th – 7^th positions as Amaya Guzman, Lauren May, Hannah Shull and Brieanna McFarren finished respectively.

The Bowlers will be back in action, next Tuesday for the Conference Team Tournament which will determine the Conference Champion and All Conference performers.
