Eighteen boys teams and Sixteen girls teams descended upon Cardinal Land for the 2016 Cardinal Invitational on August 22. A total of 472 runners traversed the 3.2 mile course that took the runners in and out of the woods and finishing on the track in front of enthusiastic spectators. Mike Hyatt led the Cardinals with a finishing time of 17:49 for 17th place. Don Timmer was the next Cardinal to cross the finish line at 102nd place followed by Brandon Voss at 135th, Jacob Terrien (202nd) and completing the scoring Ignacio Rivera (230th).
