Netter finish Third in Lakes 8 Conference

The Cardinals continued to show improvement as a program as the finished the regular season in third place and the conference tourney in third place. In the conference tourney, they defeated Muskegon Heights, 3-0 in the quarterfinals before falling 3-0 to Ludington in the semifinals in very close matches. In the 3rd place match they defeated Muskegon Catholic 3-0. During the regular season their only conference losses were to Ludington and Conference Champion, Western Michigan Christian. District action starts soon for the Cardinals at Oakridge.

The Cardinals won by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-16.
Lily Johnson paced OV with 12 kills while Cassidee White added 15 assists and 11 digs.
The Cardinals are currently 6-10 on the season and 1-1 in Lakes 8 play.

The Cardinals opened the new season at the Allendale Invite. They finished the day going 2-2 with close losses to Holland Christian and Zeeland West coupled with wins over Kalamazoo Hackett and Allendale. They will be back in action Tuesday at Grant.
