The Cardinals fell in Game 1, 5-6 as Halee Holman struck out three batters in a losing effort.
Casidee White led the Cardinals with three hits and two RBIs at the plate.
In Game 2, Allie Tenhove pitched solid on the mound allowing six hits and striking out eight hitters in a 6-5 win.
Holman led the way for the Cardinals at the plate with three hits and three RBIs.
The Cardinals are 24-8 on the season

For the third time in three years the Cardinals are Conference Champion. They defeated Ludington, 10-0 and 16-1 to complete another conference undefeated season.

ORCHARD VIEW 11-18, WMCC 1-1 – The Cardinals scored twice in the second, third and fourth innings and added four in the fifth to seal up the Game 1 victory.
Leading OV was Kaelyn McNarland, who pitched the victory with a two-hitter and three strikeouts. McNarland also led the offense with three hits. Cheyenne Holman and Madison Bowen added two hits apiece for the Cardinals.
Kelcea Waller scored the only run for WMCC.
In Game 2, OV put up big numbers in the first and second innings to take control and gain the sweep. McNarland led offensively with two hits. Allison TenHove pitched the victory, throwing a one-hitter with six strikeouts.
Abby Sweetman ripped a triple down the left field line and scored WMCC’s only run on a ground out by Katelyn Fooks. Maria Sanocki added a double for WMCC.
Orchard View improved to 9-3 overall and 4-0 in Lakes 8 play. WMCC fell to 2-2 on the season and 0-2 in the conference.

ORCHARD VIEW 7-15, MANISTEE 4-3 – Orchard View got RBI doubles from Cassidee White and Halee Holman in the seventh inning of Game 1 on Friday. Holman also picked up the win, striking out nine and allowing three hits.
White led the Cardinal (7-2, 2-0) offense in Game 2 with four hits while Holman added three of her own. Allie Tenhove added two hits while also picking up the win, striking out 10.
Whitehall and Orchard View each earn a win in a non-league softball doubleheader

The Whitehall and Orchard View softball teams split a doubleheader on Wednesday, with the Vikings winning the opener 9-6 and Orchard View getting even in the nightcap 12-2.
In Game 1, the score was tied 6-6 in the bottom of the sixth when Kyleigh Martin doubled on the first pitch, knocking in two runs. Whitehall tallied 11 hits in the game.
Ella Lyvere earned the win on the mound for Whitehall. Abby Seeger, Karoline Glamzi and Bailee Spicklemire all managed multiple hits for the Vikings, and Seeger had a home run.
In Game 2, Allie TenHove pitched a gem for the Cardinals, allowing only two hits and striking out 14 in five innings.
TenHolve had five hits and five RBIs over the two games, while Cassidy White had five hits, including two doubles.
OV and Whitehall are both 1-1 on the season.
