Boys Soccer wins Hart Tournament

The Cardinals won the Hart Soccer Tournament for the third straight year. They defeated Montague, 6-0, then Pentwater 8-0 and Hart 2-1 to stay perfect on the day. The Cardinals are now 9-6 overall.

The Orchard View boys soccer team was on fire offensively in an 8-0 victory over Muskegon Catholic Central in a Lakes 8 contest on Thursday.
Roger Mackenzie paced the Cardinals with two goals while Alex Cantu, Evan McMiller, Bradey Bowen, Isaiah Villareal, Riley Tuttle, Maverick Carlise and Roger Mackenzie each added a goal.
Tuttle, Brent Sandburg, McMiller, and Brandon Voss each chipped in with an assist.
Orchard View’s goalkeeper Brandon Lindsley had a shutout in the net with three saves.
The Cardinals are now 6-6 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
Roger McKenzie’s second-half goals lead OV past Oakridge in soccer

Roger McKenzie scored two goals in the second half, giving the Orchard View soccer team a 4-2 non-
league victory over Oakridge on Wednesday.
Orchard View led 2-0 at halftime following goals by Kalin Wade and Connor Irving. Oakridge tied the score on goals by Cameron Weaver and Dean Tibbs.
McKenzie scored his two goals in the final 15 minutes, giving the Cardinals the victory.
Orchard View improved to 3-0 on the season. Oakridge fell to 1-1.
